JUSTICE FOR KIGOGWA FUEL TANKER EXPLOSION VICTIMS CAMPAIGN

When we launched the #Justice4KigogwaAffectedPersons campaign in October last year following the horrific fuel tanker explosion that claimed over 40 people, we witnessed firsthand the devastating trauma endured by survivors, victims’ families, and the wider Kigogwa community.

The pain & loss were overwhelming, we issued urgent calls for psychological & physical support from relevant org & govt bodies. Regrettably, those calls went unanswered Despite this neglect, we have continued to stand with affected families, especially young women whose lives were shattered by this preventable tragedy We’re supporting them in their pursuit of justice including legal action against those responsible for this gross negligence & senseless loss of innocent lives The voices of Kigogwa must not be silenced & accountability must be pursued without delay.
